From the beginning of the Zao adventure, we made the choice to focus on raw materials from organic farming. By choosing ingredients that are free of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, we minimize soil and groundwater pollution, protecting biodiversity and taking care of your health. Our makeup range also has an increased biocompatibility with the skin. Indeed, active ingredients contained in organic plants are much more concentrated than in plants from conventional agriculture.

For the sake of respect of all living creatures, none of our finished products and none of our raw materials are tested on animals. We exclude the use of ingredients of animal origin, such as beeswax and cochineal (red pigment).

By creating a refillable system, we choose to act in favour of the environment. Thanks to this packaging, we produce less waste, use less plastic and consume less energy.
